Mesa Precision Altitude Stock

This seems to be a very popular stock throughout this thread. Is there a reason this is more popular than McMillan or other similar stocks?

Lead time, cost, and ease of ordering is why I started with a mesa. They didn't work for me so I sent them down the road, some people like the ergonomics alas I did not.

There was a huge group buy for them last year I believe. Got a lot of stocks into guys hands faster than what other companies were offering as far as lead times are concerned.

How long ago was this? Last I talked to McMillan for their edge stocks for Tikka was 10 months lead time.

All 73 pages to conclude I will keep the factory stock on my CTR and just replace the bottom metal and trigger spring. lol.

Ordered in April I think, and got it in October, but I had to send it back 3 times before they got it right. It wasn’t cut for a Proof Sendero like I ordered. I won’t get into that fiasco, but my brother just ordered one they had ready to ship and it came the same way as mine. It has to go back.

No idea I’d guess the add ons. I called right after shot show and sounds like they were so busy I just got a generic 5 weeks out answer.
