I’ve got a comparison thread somewhere. It’s a great simple stock with relatively modern ergonomics.

Both are in 300 WSM. The 22" barrel one shoots 212s @ 2860 fps. That 1:11 twist on the cut down OEM Tikka barrel meant I didn't want to shoot the long 212 grainers in the 16.25" barrel. So the 178s in the shorty barrel are going 2960 fps (this same load has the 178s at 3190 fps in a 24" OEM barrel Tikka I have been loading for my hunting buddy for years.

The short barrel should be fine for 0-500 yards with that load and even better for if/when I gotta wade into the alders after bears with the short barrel and some 200 accubonds loaded up thus the 1-8 NX8 optic on it.

I like the look and fit, but haven't shot it yet just put the scope on. I'm not a fan of the Rokstok as far as looks.

Yea what’s the load if you don’t mind sharing. I’m getting about 2975 out of a standard barrel with 178s.

Good looking set up. The GPO intrigues me, how do you like it? The price and features look pretty good, I'd like to see how they fare in drop tests.

Haha yeah I'm down to just 7 pounds now thus its only used in the WSMs going forward and not in the 6.5 CMs.

I have posted this rifle in the past, but it's now onto its third stock and fifth optic. I've finally settled on the DMR3 and I feel it suits the rifle perfectly.
T3 223AI - 1:7in Swan Barrel .830" no taper, spiral fluted. Finished at 18".
Grayboe phoenix. Waters Rifleman bottom and magazine. Manael lightweight arca rail. Arken rings. Can't remember what the bolt and shroud is.

Currently shooting the 88gr ELDM at 2630fps. Shot F-open with it a few weeks back, grouped very well at 900m.

It's a chamberd blank. With tikkas you can get shoulderd pre fits though no barrel nut needed.

Be interested to hear about load development etc on this build. Being from Canada IBI is a feasible option. What's the freebore on their 22 CM prefit?
