2013 Xterra Pro-4X. I’ve put 120k on it so far, only change the oil, tires and add gas! My last vehicle was a 2004 Titan, I put 280k on that one. I really like the X though. I sleep in the back, has enough cargo space for most of my hunting needs, and it will go anywhere with ease

Surprised I don’t have any dedicated pics of my truck! Lots of the fish hunter tho! 2000 tundra TRD dedicated play rig. 145k miles. The frame is brand new, due to the rust problem Toyota had that year, short lift kit. As a hunting rig, it’s great - as a work or towing rig my modest boat pushing its capability for pure work.

This pic is 4 miles offshore in Lake Michigan during a salmon tournament, taken by a friend. Kinda a rare to have a pic of your boat in use on the water!

It's an Iron Bull...don't buy one if you're gonna color match. They use a crapton of powder coating to hide the truth of their plasma cutting. When we took the coating off it revielded a bumper that looked like Fred Flinstone chiseled it.

I was pissed! It took weeks of grinding and lapping to correct the lines and give it a smooth finish. Then the damn thing didn't fit the truck (despite the company's claims they update their specs). When they weld the bumper it warps and you'll have a biach of a time heating it up and making it fit. And the sensor holes we hand drilled which you can do with any bumper. Just watch the spacing if you have a winch.

Yep, this is why I went with buckstop. Can't remember the other bumper compqny but one company in Pineville Oregon makes buckstop and this other brand.

That looks great! I have a 16 f150 also. What lift/spacers did you have to put on to get those tires not to rub?

I decided on a Halo Lifts coilover kit, ICON UCAs, and a 3” rear block. The coilovers are 1-3” and are set around 2.7” with no rub at all. No crash bar mods and I didn’t even remove the valence. I chose a 3” block to leave a bit of a rake, around 0.8”.

Expensive kit for sure but big improvement in handeling.74591F5F-096F-45B1-943E-C528D310CC98.jpeg

The before image is with OEM 275x55x20s, which are for sale with a full size spare if anyone is in the Denver area.

The key is the wheel. I decided on a set of Method NVs that are 17x8.5 with 0 degree offset.

What I used last year to zip around on ATVs trails in Idaho with a pack and my bow on me vs what I'm using this year. Way more efficient for scouting new spots than what it was to try and drive around with a truck

I driver a good old 2000 4x4 Blazer. She does the trick and got me out of a few mud bogs along the way. Its not a Silverado/Sierra (my next truck) but I've had my fair share of deer in the back of there and even makes a good place to sleep along the way haha.

Picture taken from online but its the same truck i drive everyday.

Had a 2014 Silverado 1500 Ltz but the build quality was shit so I switched over to toyota. Silverado was 1000x more comfortable for the daily commute but that aside I like the Tacoma much more for woods activities especially.
