As I age....gloves are something I've often overlooked. I wear gloves now almost every hunt once it's sub 50F. I am using my hands or on my knuckle flats adjusting positions, stalking, etc.

Are there any "deals" out there for leather "work" type gloves that have WOOL liners or insulation?? I see a few, but WOW!...they're all $150+.

I have a handful of decent gloves and mitts. Kinco can be a good source that doesn't break the bank.

Am I missing some?

Century Leather Products Owatonna Mn, will tan your hides and make gloves, shooting mittens ets or you can buy stock for prices a little more than tractor supply. Love their 3 finger deerskin thinsulate shooting mittens when hunting in zero or below temps.
Another option is Geier glove company, they sell a merino lined deerskin glove that is wonderful, think about $75.

The GEIER is the closest that Google got me and about what I am looking for. In comparison they're cheaper than most. Dealer locator says multiple retailers in my area.

They Smartwool look nice also. Thanks for the help. SmartWool did NOT come across during my searches.

Found some GEIER Gloves locally. Was nice to be able to try on and get correct sizing and sort through Deer, Elk and Bison. Was fortunate to have merino liners on site as well. Grabbed some 11s and ordered two sets of merino liners. Still more than I wanted to pay.....$81 for bison work gloves. Though made in USA and like once I crossed the $150 threshold with my knives years ago....you tend to take care of them and not lose them when they cost that much. Fingers crossed.

Wont be my super cold glassing system. But my InFil, Spot n Stalk and rambling gloves...should be decent into sub freezing as long as I am moving a bit. Will report

Get a pair of leather mits and wear standard army surplus wool gloves under them as a liner. Should be sub $30 all in. You can swap out liners if they get wet as well.
Leather gloves with a sewn in liner is a hard-no for me. Takes FOREVER to dry

I have a pair of deer hide insulated gloves, maybe thinsulate, got them at Big R. Decent gloves but the dexterity is not great, use them at camp all the time in winter.
