I'm somewhat desperate for elk meat so I'm all about shooting a cow. However, that's the only tag that I can still fill other than a wolf. I hope you find your buck and a cow.

The wide buck (I thought was a 2x3) is actually a 3x4 that’s crabby. I’m watching him run a doe through the timber. Super windy.

I want to go after that buck but he’s moved about 1.5 miles since Monday and is barely on private now. Just talked to the landowner and he has it leased out to an outfitter. No chance in access.
