I am sure you could. Or, you could use the long pocket/pod as a compression panel. The possibilities are endless with the Nomad and all of the available accessories.

Me and Colton spent about 3 hours shooting at the shop yesterday. Him and his wife are wonderful people. Had a great time shooting and shooting the $h!t with them.
Doh off topic back to the nomad trying out a mega pullout with a small ul pod on the bottom now.

Appreciate the kind words! SHTF enlightened me on arrow lube changed my life haha.

Thought I would share a photo. I got the PR-49 packraft loaded up for a little weekend hiking and floating. We don't have any cool mountains or glacial rivers around here but it is still nice to get out and on the water.

You gotta find something to do... from my house I have a 3-5 mile hike to either a park with a lake or upstream on the Kansas river. It's mostly flat and paved but hey, it's still effort to lug a 40#+ pack. Then it's all fun in the water for a bit before the trek home. We are already breaking 90° and stupid humidity so it works you to do it.

I got my Nomad about 2 weeks ago, I have done multiple hikes with it, usually 3-5 miles. Anyway, I fully loaded it with typical gear for a backpacking trip. I like it. I am currently looking at getting either a back pouch or medium pod, I was thinking of putting my sleeping bag and pad in it, or whatever else I may need. I picture this going in the space below the wings... I really just want something that will be the most versatile. I would appreciate any input from people who have used either or both.

I have a medium pod and run it below the wings. I put my sl5, sleeping pad, extra clothes, and jet boil in it. With it in place and the rest of the pack loaded the pod and wings dont interfere with each other. It works good so far in the very limited use I have put it through so far.

Nomad and accessories arrived. Looking forward to getting it going.

What are y'all using to keep it dry when it rains? A waterproof cover, or just spraying the $h!t out of it w a "scotch guard" type of a protection?

I usually don't worry to much about my pack getting wet. Everything important is in dry bags. I do carry a lightweight rain cover from Eberlestock that will cover it all up if it pours. I also use it if I leave my pack outside the tent at night.

Here is mine on a scouting trip. (I was my using my Highcamp for the only occasion I had to pack meat so the Nomad missed out).

It has my spotter/tripod in the small pocket on the empty left wing which is compressed flat under the full right wing making a very compact pack. (And a possible political joke).
