Is Creatine worth the weight gain?

Its miracle powder as far as im concerned. 10g a day in 2 doses. I sleep much better on it than off, and I think the mental benefits largely stem from that. Holy crap I need to drink a lot of water though. Creatine + all day offshore fishing trips = gallon of water minimum, which results in lots of pissing.

Totally worth it.

Took me a good while to arrive at this daily practice, but I have an electrolyte drink every morning in addition to creatine. I consume 10g creatine pretty early, usually around 5 am, but I occasionally take 15-20g if I'm anticipating a day where cognitive performance is going to be critical. Shortly after that, I consume an electrolyte drink (been totally hooked on the hot electrolyte drinks, specifically the chocolate salt from LMNT). I've observed that my hydration retention after that is quite good and I'm not pissing all morning after drinking excessive amounts of water.

Doing this, I effectively start the day with 32 oz of water, 16 when I first wake up and another 16 for my creatine. There is also a big, fat cup of coffee in the middle here that I'm not counting. And then that's followed by 12 oz of an electrolyte hot drink which is sipped slowly. With that combination, I feel super hydrated and dialed in whether its a super active day or a day at the office. I don't ever feel like I'm playing catch up nor am I having to go to the bathroom all morning.
