My heart may still be black, but I like half and half or cream in my coffee. Yeah, I know. Makes backpacking tough, as I have never had an instant creamer that didnt taste like the bottom of the dumpster in the alley behind a seedy bar. Or at least what imagine that’d taste like.

All you fellow heathens who like cream in your coffee, what’s your go-to for backpacking? Just drink it black for a few days? Powdered milk? Or….????

Thanks in advance.

Love cream in my coffee...drinking it now. My family laughs as I have been on a lifetime search for a backpacking creamer. Have tried a ton of them and have not liked any. They either clump, taste, awful, or are some coconut oil type concoction. Many are sweet.
Currently resigned to the CoffeeMate packets. Chemical death in a tube but best I have found. Only use a few times a year.
I will be watching this thread.....

Seems a little odd men think about other men's creamer...

I use caffeine and electrolyte pills, makes life easy.

I’ll pack a can of sweetened condensed milk with some powdered milk. This has been my favorite so far. I dont use it in the summer. For summer I buy the mini liquid creamers in bulk and pack those.

Sir, I appreciate your assistance but I can accept depravity only so far. I draw the line—in heavy ink—WELL before flavored creamers.

@huntabsarokee drinks some type of instant that you just add water, hot or cold, and it makes a coffee drink with foam on top. Maybe you’d like it. I drink mine hot and black, so I’ve never tried it. Hopefully he’ll chime in

I get the little single serve creamers, like at hotels, and put them in a Tupperware so they don't get mashed...

This is what I drank on our hunt. They have a few flavors. My wife and daughter drink it iced. Would have never tried it but found it for a $1 a bag. At .16 a cup it was delicious although sweet. Would take again.
