That's actually a great thought. Upgrading gear that isn't my weapon. If I didn't have Swaros already, that's probably what I would do.

If I had that kind of money, im upgrading gear to get my pack lighter and more compact. Or to be more comfortable. After that, would be a spotter. But I dont think the OP or most folks need a spotter. Just some retards opinion though.

If I had that kind of $... I would be searching for an Old T/C Omega .50 Cal Stainless and add a specialty custom breech plug with a tungsten carbide bushing , then add a Burris 210511 Fullfield Scope, with Burris Signature Rings, and 3 or 4 8oz or the larger Container of Hodgdon BH209 Powder and 1 K Fed 209A Primers. As I am interested in shooting & hunting with a Muzzleloader these Days
That said I am on a tight budget so I will stick with my Knight DISC Extreme and carry on my hunting & shooting. Social Security does not go that far these days!
But if I had 1500.00 maybe would help...

I actually have a true love for a Kimber Mountain. Or a Kimber in Wood. Just a personal love for one.
