Ill make this short but I've never been more disappointed archery antelope hunting than this year. My group has killed alot of goats in southern idaho over the years. The last few seems less and less. This year was terrible for everyone I ran into. Anyone know what gives? Numbers seem really low. Not to mention the issue that pisses me off most is the fact my family bought be a new blind a few weeks ago for my bday, and on day 2 someone stole it. I hate thieves. I know most people in the hunting community would never do that but none the less it happens. I talked to a rancher the same day it happened and he said it was pretty common and he's seen it all over the years out there...

Bummer.

I harvested an antelope, my friend did as well a few years back, just east of Mountain Home.

Just drew for it again with the same buddy. Hope to have equal luck this time.

That sucks man. I’m headed near challis for my daughters rifle antelope tag in a few weeks numbers seemed decent in July when we were down there checking it out

If I get a new blind I might hide an AirPod in the hub. If someone takes it they will get to see how their truck runs with sugar water in the gas tank. I have a few AirPods in other gear. There are YouTube videos showing you how to remove the speaker so it won’t beep and alert the tweaker.

Ive never hunted Antelope, have thought about trying archery antelope. But reading/hearing the horror stories of the archery hunts makes it hard to apply for it. Might just apply for one of the actual point required units or do rifle.

The rifle tags are fun and great but took my 15 years to draw the one and only time I did.

Numbers seemed normal where I was at. They weren’t in the same areas they were the previous year. I also saw way more hunters this year.

Blinds set up all over the place. One was even 6” off the side of the two track lol
