I run a eberlestock f1 frame pack. It allows you to attach multiple different sized packs on the same frame which is like. I can ru a 7,500 sized pack or a 2,500 sized pack. I can also remove the packs for a pack out if desired etc. I actually bought a k4 hip belt that works on that platform and upgraded to the padded shoulder straps which were both really nice upgrades! There are plenty of good pack options out there but I like the versatility of my pack becaaause sometimes I need a smaller day pack (2,500) and sometimes I need 10 days worth of food and gear (7,500 pack). I can do it all from the same frame and that frame can hold way way more weight that I could ever carry. I think it was tested to 1,000lbs or something crazy like that in testing.New here, had to come straight to the bear section. Love your story, well documented and a great bear! I love chasing bear. Have harvested in Pa, were I live and Maine, but my favorite is hunting the western bears and color phase. Will be hunting with my daughter this fall in Colorado again, were my bro lives.
What packs are you using?
We usually go in for 4 days at a time roughly. Was looking at the Exo mt k4? My daughter will use the MR pintler with the women’s yolk/belt. Attached 2 pics of my son and I with Co bear.
