Last fall after a successful Wyoming hunt I took my deer to a Wy G&F office be tested for CWD. Didn't cost me a thing but a few minutes of my time. I'd forgotten about the raffle G&F entered you in when you bring by an animal for CWD testing. I simply wanted to get the deer tested.
Flash forward to February 2023 and I get a call from Wy G&F advising me I won the Stone Glacier backpack-just for doing what I was going to do all along. The raffle is to encourage folks to get the animals tested. Apparently many folks don't do this. I was confident my deer was healthy as he certainly looked healthy but I thought couldn't hurt to test him any way.
