OK? How does that relate to anything?
I will break it down real slow Brandon. Fat people can decide to be fat or not. People can decide to get vax or not. So with both being a choice and considering heart disease is still the leading killer by a fair margin shouldn’t fat people not get help either. All the other people you listed are act of god and they can’t control it. How about this any one living in cities in close proximity to each other should take a back seat to us country folk who social distance better than any one. Let’s see if we can keep dumb idea Friday rolling.

People think its only fat people & smokers filling the ICU‘s? I‘d think there are lot car accident or home injuries in the ICU. Or maybe just some old people who may need medical treatment because, I don’t know, they’re old? But to the anti-vaxx’er screw ‘em right? Until it their families & friends that can’t get into the ICU when its full. Then it turns to the Gov’t screwed ‘em.

What agenda? Someone please explain this mystical agenda. To me it just seems like simple math. Maybe that’s the problem? No, it's simple history, government, and the American freedom of government not mandating our choices for us.
That whole "anti-vaxx" narrative is one of the big misconceptions out there, but to everyone that uses it.........they already know that.

And you must have missed my post about my mom dying in April after not being able to be admitted into the ICU because it was full. I don't blame the government for that, nor do I blame the Americans that exercised their freedom to make their own healthcare decisions by not getting the shots. I really don't understand why it's so difficult for so many to not understand American freedoms, liberties, and rights. I mean ya, I get it.....there's a whole population out there that absolutely hates the foundation that America was founded on and our Constitution. But for the rest of the folks, American freedom "from the government" should be an easy concept to understand. Perhaps if our education system hadn't failed us so badly, more people would understand the history of the founding of our nation, and why it was designed so differently than the rest of the world. That's what we are defending.........at all costs.

If we just get rid of fat people we don’t even need ICU? Brilliant!!! Think how much we‘ll save on health care cost!!! Why didn’t we think of this sooner?
Why stop there. Why not just just shut down all medical facilities for the next year and give all those workers a break? No discrimination at all........no healthcare for anyone. I'm sure the government will pay their salaries during that time. Heck, we might even come out ahead from all the savings of no medicare and medicaid costs. Good idea. (y)

As I repeatedly point out fat people with heart disease are not the only people in the ICU of hospital. People with a wide variety of medical ailments are in the ICU.

no you pointed out people who were not vaxed should go to the back in the icu because of the choice they made. What was pointed out was obese people make a choice to. Also the vax does not prevent you from getting sick.

And what I point out is obese people are not filling up our ICU. Do you think Kentucky ICU’s where full of fat people 2 weeks ago? Or do you think it was full of tornado victim?

Your changing the story to fit the narrative you want. I dont know the status of icu in Kentucky so with out the facts its all conjecture.

We are “controlled” by the government every day In hundreds of ways. We pay taxes. We have speed limits. It controls what medicine we can buy. It controls what medical procedures we can get. It controls our power source. It controls what we use for power. It controls what we can import and export. It controls our source and flow of money. It even controls MPG our vehicles can get. And on and on and on…….

Vaccine have been required by government for years. They eradicated various diseases. It was just recently that people started opposing them. Mainly by the Autism folks.

And for the record I never suggested they be mandated. I was pointing out that with choices comes responsibility. And consequences. People making the choice to not vaccinate will fill up ICU beds. Heaven forbid in 3 weeks once omicron virus non-vaccined people fill up the ICU beds a tornado, wild fire or some other disaster doesn’t injure 100‘s of people and they can’t get medical care because people made the choice to not get the vaccine.

And you're blaming all the ICU problems on 1/3 of the U.S. population even though the number of ICU beds in the country can only accommodate approximately .03% of the population. That's not 3%, that's .03%. And that's the total of all ICU beds (burn unit etc). Is that math too simple for folks to understand? The ICU, the unvaccinated, and Covid are the least of America's problems at this point.

Mine wasn't. I consider healthcare to be a luxury item.......a privilege, not a right. Of course you also have that opinion, otherwise you wouldn't be advocating for rejecting treatment for some folks.
First off I never suggested rejecting treatment for anyone. I suggested if you make a choice to not get vaccine and go to ER or ICU with Covid that person who was injured in car accident or tornado should get put to the head of the line. Its called triage. Or at least should be.

The point of my OP was our ER and ICU are going to fill up AGAIN with Covid patients. This will negatively impact peoples care who didn’t have a choice whether they get in a car accident, tornado hits or what ever ailment hits them.

Sorry totally wrong. Our ICU are not overwhelmed today with Covid patients thanks to the Vaccine. They will be overwhelmed in just a few more weeks thanks to the unvaccinated.

And that's fine.......I wouldn't expect operating procedures to change just because there's a new sickness out there, no matter how many people are filling up the ER's etc.
