In a previous thread there was much discussion about the reliability of the CDS system from Leupold, Seems according to the responses that Leupolds have had problems along with some other name brand scopes when it comes to elevation dials. Given I'm now in the market for a good dial twister I'm thinking I should consider something different than Leupold or the Swaro Z series. One name that pops up for scopes on a dial system is Huskemaw. They seem to be in the mid price range so affordable by a working mans budget. Any feedback from those with experience using these scopes? Pros/cons, whatever. Members critiques are most appreciated. Thanks

First year using the Huskemaw's, a 4-16 and 5-20. Shot six animals from 420 to just over a 1000 yards and target practice out to 2000. Never had an issue. I did switch to MOA turrets not a fan of ballistic turrets. The glass is sub-par.

How was the durability? They’re fairly light weight scopes compared to some others on the market.

I had one of the first versions, prior to the Blue series and was not impressed. It seemed to have issues holding zero and I didn’t like the 1 click being 1/3”.

So far so good. I tall target tested both and they were money. I never checked the windage dial because I just hold that with the reticle. But like I said I’ve only used them one season.
