Hunting/Skinning Knife build

Just finished up a new skinning knife from s30v steel and g10 scales. Turned out nicely with a few cosmetic blemishes. Really fun, but time consuming project. My first knife I made from O1 tool steel skinned an elk, but got a bit rusty from lack of maintenance.

Beautiful work! I can’t even manage to rehandle an Old Hickory without making it ugly. (Still works good though...)
 
I get most supplies from trugrit abrasives and also do heat treating there. They do a great job.
 
Probably close to 10 hours. Im planning on making another batch, and figure to cut that time down. Certainly labor intensive.
