Help finalize the "Dixie Zipper" (Mini CBK) for a group buy

Non-knapped... Never saw the need for more grip on a knife used for hunting. Just used a G-10 handled knife cleaning a bunch a slimy fish and never dropped it once and didn't think it needed more grip.
Like on a axe you want a smooth grip or it will tear your hands up.

Non-knapped here as well. I wasn’t on the pass around list so I can’t speak to the scallop from a potential feel perspective. I also ordered the micarta but would be curious to see the green and orange G10.

Non knapped here as well. I will say though the lime/orange knapped will look cool, but for me in use I don't think it's my baliwick.
As for the scallop, I'll have to trust your judgment. I use a pinch grip a lot, and pinch with index on the spine quite often. How a knife fits in use is what makes it a favorite, sometimes even with lower quality blade as sacrifice for feel.

For those who have pre ordered, do you plan to carry this knife for general purpose use or primarily for butchering game?

For me it's going to be for processing. It would probably be ok for a few other things like food prep if need be, but I have a tool steel blade I use for GP.

Ordered two! Thanks for all the work on this. Any pics of the edge finish option @hereinaz? I don't think I care given intended use, just curious though.

I will likely field dress with my sharptailed still, or sometimes with my blackfoot. If I intend to skin in the field will use this, if I intend to do that back at the cabin I will use this.

Who knows though, spots in my rotation can always change a bit over time.
