Is Hoyt no longer offering the Harvest Brown colored risers with the black limbs as a color option?

You may be able to order Harvest Brown through Hoyts custom shop. Have your local dealer call Hoyt and ask.

I have a Pro Defiant 34 on order in black out. I don't like the carbon weave on the limbs so I ordered the limbs in matte black through the custom shop. The limbs will match the riser.

Anyone have any insight on the change to the #2 DFX cams? The new ones are a 2.1 and the shop I was at couldn't tell me what was different compared to last years #2 cams. Is it worth spending the money for a '17 with the 2.1 cam or do I save money and get a leftover '16 with the 2?

I am not certain of the difference, but some have claimed to have had problems tuning the 2016 #2 cams, especially in the middle settings. I can tell you that the 2.1 cam is a very easy tune in the "C" setting (28 inch draw).

Just got back from the shop and shot the pro defiant 34. Liking it very, very much. What is a good street price for one of these - the non carbon version?
