I saw an opportunity to buy a package rifle for something like $8 more than the gun without the scope. I plan to buy the package just so I can get the scope rings. I figure the rings should be find on a light shooting 6 ARC.

Btw - Are the package scopes any good? I have another scope in the safe I plan to use, but I am curious how bad/good the scopes are.
The Nikko Sterling scopes remind me of basic variable power scopes from the late 90's to early 2000's. Very basic and functional. Nothing really special and an ok starting point. You can get the package deal for a few bucks more than the base rifle some times or even less than base rifle on a sale. If the price is close, I get the one with the scope just for the rings.

6mm ARC in a secondhand MDT LSS I found cheap .
Heavier than I wanted , but have a few ideas how to drop a few ounces.
Weight isn’t to much of a problem though because it’s a Predator rifle and spends most of it’s time travelling in a vehicle .

My stockys stock showed up today. Nice fit. I’ll get it bedded and hopefully put some rounds down range next week. Very excited.

Anyone using the CZ 527 mags and the Jefferson bottom metal for the 6 ARC? I am currently using it on my .223, but I want debating about moving it over to my ARC.

Got the first major part of my build in, 6arc heavy barrel. Waiting for my stocky to be made, checking the site daily to see if there is a status change on my order lol... still trying to decide on a scope for it, I am going to upgrade the bottom metal, wish more folks made them *cough UM*. The action isn't as smooth as other Howas I've felts/owned.

Here’s my build. 6 arc with the 22” sporter. Installed flush cups, wiser pic rail, dip bottom metal, bolt knob, cut a loop off the trigger spring, and bedded the action. Currently using it for predator hunting but have a Swfa UL for it and would like to do a barrel chop and cerakote at some point.

Doesn’t seem like the rokslide code works on top of that price. Was gonna put one on order if it worked…that would be a steal of a deal

I have not seen a photo comparison between the OR Gunsmithing and the Jefferson Outdoor hinged floorplates. For reference the JO is mounted in the stock. I don't have the individual weights but regardless I much prefer the JO.

I am a while out, but I have everything in place to design and manufacture a bottom metal and magazine with longer COL and move the release to the trigger guard.

It’s a long term project, won’t be a quick turnaround.

Looks like Jefferson Outdoors might have changed their trigger guard design?
Mines a few years old now
