All mine are still afield, so can't say for sure. My non-cell Cuddebacks were quite loud to the point that I took one apart to see if I could silence them and the tolerances for the IR filter arm were so small there didn't seem to be an easy fix. If you turn on the Tactacam "check-in picture" (takes a pic every 12 hours), this may help force the IR filter to click without critters around. It seems to me that the no-glow IR cams draw less attention than the low-glow IRs, which can also be part of the alerted animals.
