How do you store your GPS (for max battery life) in the off season?

My question is pretty much contained in the thread title - I bought a Garmin 67i InReach to use this fall. It'll likely sit unused for several months now.

Google searches indicate that I need to store the battery mostly charged. Is that it? Anything else I need to know to ensure the thing works next fall?

cool and dry place, try to maintain 60 - 80 degrees, I have an old delorme inreach from 10 years ago and it still works great and I have stored it at 100% since I got it.
