I was actually going to make a post about knives.
I used to use a Wyoming knife. But have switched to a Havalon bolt.

I have been thinking that the Havalon is the perfect knife for processing game, but suffers significantly as a survival knife.
If I were to be lost in the woods, I would hate to be stuck with my Havalon alone.

Sometimes you just need a beefy blade in survival situations.

I have been looking around and skeleton knives to carry as a survival knife.
But I did also consider buying the Havalong bone saw and using the combination as a survival knife.

Kind of funny that they are now offering a combination unit.

Still not sure I want it as my survival knife.
But I don't have a ton of other options that I do like.

For what its worth, I think that if I were in the market for a Havalon, I would look at it.
The only thing is, the handle on the bone saw is much larger than the handle on a piranta or bolt.
Being a combo knife, it may be larger than a person wants.

They also are making the Titan. Razor knife and regular style knife.
