Not knocking honda, because they are certainly reliable. But look at anything from the big four Japanese brands that fits your use and budget. Once you narrow that down, shop for the best price. Any one of these brands are going to serve you well and last a lifetime. I've put a little over 3000 miles on my 2019 suzuki king quad and it's gives me zero issues. I've got buddies with yamaha and they are just a reliable.

Sorry never owned a Honda, know a few guys that have them. It's a 50/50 split on feedback. I myself am a hard-core Yamaha guy, own a 400 Kodiak for my wife and 660 grizzly for me. Both have hauled whole elk and 2 full grown adults. Proofs in the pudding they say😏

I think I have decided on a base model Kodiak 700. I test drove one and liked it a lot. It comes with an automatic transmission and was shockingly powerful with me on it. Now to find the right deal.

She’s been all over the US. Hard to beat an old Honda

That being said, I’m looking forward to buying a SXS one day!

I've got 7000 miles of western Colorado trails on my Grizzly 550. My Wife has a similar number on her Grizz 550. Belts are not really a concern. We've got a 2020 Honda Foreman that we inherited, it is our loaner, just not as nice in any way as the Grizzly's.
That's great to know!
