Honestly, I’ve not found anything better than a thin glove with good dexterity, plus a hand muff and body warmers as needed. On the stand my hands don’t stay out long enough to be a problem for a thin glove and you can’t beat a muff with a hot hands body warmer inside to roll around in your hands. The only time my muff doesn’t go with me to the stand is when I take my Fanatic jacket, which has a built in muff, but I don’t hunt much in mild temps anymore.
The last few years I’ve been using a thin fleece glove I picked up in Iceland a couple years ago. But I bought a pair of Sitka merino gloves to try this year.
This.

I cant stand fingerless gloves, ugh, IMO they make my fingers actually feel COLDER, than even going no gloves. Tried em one hunt and couldnt believe how cold my hands got. I took em off and just put my hands in my pocket with hand warmers.
I like the light fleece ones, so when i pull my hands out of the muff to shoot i can easily have my hands outside the muff for 15-30 min. My hands are warm and still not be exposed to the elements, that my hands can easily manipulate the gun, action, pull the trigger for 15-30 min. Well long enough for me to get shots off.
The only time i wont wear the fleece are when its raining/snowing. And if thats happening then I'm in my waterfowl blind and not the stand.
In the waterfowl blind, if its raining im not wearing gloves and keeping my hands in my pockets as im protected by my layout or a frame and my waterproof jacket.
If its snowing, same thing but i MIGHT wear my waterproof cabelas gore-tex gauntlet gloves:

I think last year I wore my cabelas gloves, MAYBE 1x.
But usually just keep hot hands in the muff cuz again im usually in a layout that keeps me dry or an a frame. If its snowing in the a frame we have heater-buddies in front of us.
Lastly, and IMO most importantly, the fleece is breatheable. If my hands sweat, they get cold in gloves that dont breathe. If they get too hot in the muff with the hot-hands, i pull my hands out to breathe, yet still stay dry so my hands dont get clamy. If they get cold after a bit. I put em back in the muff for warmth. Being dry is one of the most important things too.
