So you poor both in and drink?

Why use it at all? If you do it that way it does nothing anyway.

Those look pretty cool. I like the Potable Aqua Chlorine Dioxide Tablets. They kill everything! Including Cryptosporidium.

And in same boat.

But thanks for the review Aron. Like having some kind of emergency backup in the pack. Tabs fit that roll way better than 2 bottles.

5 min mix 10 min in the water. drink up. you really take offense to most of my posts. so serious all the time, its not good for you. I was just pointing out in my original post to the" good bye aquamira thread" that the drops worked faster. seemed a relevant comment to the two products you were directly comparing and at the least a point that could be brought up in a thread/conversation comparing the two. sorry for my offense....ill wait in the car

Just tested the next tablets from MSR on some nasty water, and I'm a happy man!

30 minute purification time.....no mess.. light weight and $12!

THESE ARE AWESOME!

You guys read differently in Washington....

I see nothing about faster anything being faster, but you could always drop the pills in and weight 10 minutes (like you do with Aquamira).

Justin, do you have a system for dealing with the 4 hour wait time?

From PA website FAQ's:

"How do I use Potable Aqua® Chlorine Dioxide Tablets?
Use Potable Aqua Chlorine Dioxide Water Purification Tablets to kill bacteria, viruses and cysts (Cryptosporidium parvum and Giardia muris) in contaminated water.

Remove the tablet from its foil packaging with knife or scissors, and quickly insert into one quart (one liter) of contaminated water. Allow to react for 4 hours, in an area away from sunlight, to generate a solution of 4 ppm chlorine dioxide. The treated water is now ready for drinking."

Hmm, I thought it was a four hour wait. But I did go to school in North Idaho, reading is not my strong point. But seriously lets all just go with nothing this year and report back on our findings. Most would be fine, maybe one would still be in the bathroom:)

We'll need photos of everyone's findings!

I'll stick with the dip and drink method.....You're more likely to get sick from bad hygiene than water.

I did filter on one trip last year though, because the whole area smelled like elk piss.

I just figured I'd go without water this year... I'm working on training my body to not need it... it's going to save me all sorts of time and weight!!! ;)
