I got the dates booked with the pilot we use flying out to our cabin. Going out for the first week. Again at end of the month for 10 days or so. I'll see how it's going. For me it's a big deal getting out as I've had a broken neck and it is healing great. So beautiful wife is finally allowing me to get out.
It's just a different world. Nobody around but me and a good friend. Hopefully the bears haven't gotten in. I haven't had much of a chance to get out doing anything so looking forward to it. The hunting is always great and harvesting one is real icing on the cake. I can't travel through the bush like I used to, but just sitting on the front porch is a great stand. I have my special stand near the little pond out front. Just sitting there and watching the world turn is top shelf.
