Almost time for a new truck. Who has one of those, and any comments or known issues?

Which engine? I think that matters more than the truck.

Likely the 5.3 v8.

They say mine was built several weeks ago, but I'm still waiting on delivery. 6.2L engine. I have the same in my 2020. I'll never go back to the 5.3. I get the same gas mileage as I got in the 5.3s I had previously, but the 6.2 has a lot more power.

Out of all 3 motors the 6.2 has had the most issues.

I had a 2019 1500 AT4 with the 6.2l. I ordered an AT4X and it has been "in transit" for the last month. I would suggest looking at the 6.2l or 3.0 duramax.

I knew one of them had the lush rod issue, but wasn’t sure which.

Most of them have issues, some are just small annoying things like radios need constant software updates because of freezing issues and car play problems. The built in phone chargers can be phone picky. The engines like to drop lifters/bend push rods, timing covers leak, and water pumps go out. Trans and axles are solid.
