I take the nozzle off the can.The funnel doesn’t work with this type because you have to push the nozzle back into itself to release the gas. If that makes sense.

This ^^^^I jsut buy the VP fuel cans now. makes things much easier
Those and a battery operated pump off of Amazon have saved me millions of dollars (ok, maybe not millions) in spilled gas.I jsut buy the VP fuel cans now. makes things much easier
You worry too much.
They make filters for a reason.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Just wait till next time you roll it over and unscrew the cap.
Wife bought me a couple of those style cans/valves recently at 50% off and I like 'em. Zero leaks with fillups! Amazed. These work great for small 1-2 gallon tanks, like on a generator or chainsaw - won't lose a drop.
Best response.I personally really appreciate these new safety gas cans the government makes us use. In my ignorance I used to think that the safest thing to do was to pour the gas right into the gas tank when I was mowing the lawn. Now, thanks to the government, I understand that the safest way to go about it is to cover the engine and your hands in gasoline before you start the machine up!
THANKS GOVERNMENT!!!!
Au contraire mon frère - I forget to depressurize every dang time before blasting fuel all over every small engine I'm trying to fill...These work great for small 1-2 gallon tanks, like on a generator or chainsaw - won't lose a drop.
