...............as most everyone knows there is a list of 'Approved" and "not legal" semi auto rifles and pistols in Ca. It looks like some of the manufacturers aren't going to jump through the Ca hoops that jack them around- and cost them time and money- [intended!]

Ruger doesn't play that game so those have been gone for awhile. I wanted a nice .22 semi auto pistol so I bought the S&W 22A as it appears they might not bother keeping some of their stuff on the list and let go next year- these .22's included.

I liked the Browning better but for $220 more....I went with the S&W. As it is the mnfr's can jack the prices since there is less competition. Browning wants $539 for a .22 pistol here.

They are always adding AR's to the list of "not legal".......

Beendarenot sure if you are aware but there is a loophole that closes the first of next year in regards to single shot exemption guns. It's the only way to get non roster guns into california. You just have to find a gun shot who will do the certain gun you want. So if you were eyeing something special now would be the time, as with the mandatory waiting and limit on handgun purchases you really only have time left for one.
