If you are like me you would be leery of buying used boots but have no fear with these. I bought brand new and only wore them once outside and put at most 1 mile on them. I wore clean socks and never sweated so they still smell new. They have a few scuffs on the rubber bottoms from brush and tree steps climbing into my stand otherwise they are as good as new. These are the most comfortable pack boots I've ever worn, much better than full rubber or neoprene boots. They have a tractor tread sole which is very soft so they are very quiet to walk in, and they don't track mud but provide pretty good traction. I ended up buying the grizzly for hunting out west, but these are perfect for eastern deer hunting and spot and stalk. I normally wear a size 8 or 8.5 and they fit perfect.
