Nice, my buddy from central MT has been sending me picks like this all summer. I'm heading out in Region 1 this weekend for my first scouting trip of the year. Not quite the number of elk you have over there but I'm gonna give it a shot in early season and see what I can find. I just moved to MT from MN in April so I still have a lot to learn about the area. Good luck to all!

This isn't an elk, this moose has invaded my pheasant hunting grounds, maybe he is the culprit for low numbers....stepping on and crunching the eggs...LOL.

Ohhh man, i can't look at this. I went last year and am officially hooked. I am 100% going back next year, its literally all i think about. Elk are what deer used to be in my mind, lol. Good luck guys.
