Favorite Pants?

I wear the Kuiu Kutanas the most during hunting seasons. The Attacks are a little hot for all of the early seasons in the Southwest. I do often wear them for later seasons and also for turkey season, but not always.

Sitka Timberlines are generally too heavy and too hot for me. I tried to use them for several years, but they've been sitting in the closet for a good while now. Kuiu Tiburons get the most use from me as I wear them all summer and often into September. I have a pair of the FL equivalent to the Tiburons, whatever they are called. I like them ok, but they sure stretch out in the waist quickly and get baggy on me.

I’ve got the KUIU Attack pants as my second choice, mostly because they don’t hold up as well as Under Armour when it comes to thick, thorny brush

I like the King's Preacher Pant. They do run small so order a size or two up but one of the only pants I've found to have a long enough inseam (I'm 6'6) and to have hip vent + knee pad combo.

Another vote for the SG Dehaviland Lite. Really comfortable material, good fit, love the full length zips.

My one gripe is the material for the belt is really stiff and kind of difficult to tighten.

Sitka grinder and dakota pants. They are marketed towards the field waterfowl hunter but cross over well for upland and big game. They fit over boots better than the mountain pant and timberline pant. Same stretch and DWR.

With so many recommendations for the Kuiu attack I wanted to see if anyone can share how they fit for guys with larger legs. For reference I can't wear most boots that are taller than 11" because my calfs are too large. I've been wearing the Sitka TImberline for years and like them for late season and mountain hunts. The kneepads are great when you need them, but can get extremely hot in the earlier hunts.
Attacks are a tighter fit than the Sitka mountain or timberline pants, so I wouldn’t suggest them for you. Stone glacier is a good option though, they are a looser fit similar to Sitka.
