Favorite Pants?

Crye Precision. I was issued a pair in my last job and kept them when I retired. I have Sitka Mtn, Kuiu Attack and Sitka Intercept and keep going back to the Crye's...so well made, fits perfect, highly engineered functional and still look like new after four hunts in the Thorofare, 3 elk hunts in New Mexico and 2 in Montana. The external knee pads are awesome too

I went through a few different brands and settled on the g3 combat pants at my last job too. If they were stretchy, they would be a home run.

Prana Stretch Zions
But I expect that the new Outdoor Vitals Altura Dynamic Pants will replace them if everything I've heard is accurate.

Ill wear Kuiu Tiburons 9 months out of the year as casual day to day pants. They breathe well and if things get clammy just drop the vents.

In the winter I'll switch to the Attack pants, or if im sitting in a cold blind or at a football game is use the Guide Pants.

Highly recommend all three.

I have a couple pair of KIUI Attack pants that are nice, but for the money I go with Wrangler Outdoor Stretch Cargo pants for early season. Easily just as comfortable and surprisingly durable. I would say the fabric is also quieter than the Attack pant. I can buy 5 pairs for the price on one pair of Attack pants. If you give the Attack pant a 10/10 score, the Wranglers are easy 8/10 or 9/10. The Attack pants are slightly heavier material so if temps drop they have another advantage over the Wranglers. You do not have to spend $150 to $200 for good serviceable pants.

KUIU katana. Extremely comfortable, breathe well and legit durable. Best pants I’ve ever had. And have had SG, FL, sitka

If price isn't an issue, I prefer KUIU attack. They've had better durability for me compared to the First Lite corrugate.

I've been impressed with the Black Ovis Cottonwood Creek and Granite Peak light weight pants. I've had some issues with the stitching coming out near the pockets, but I've been able to mend them. Can't beat the price. You can pick them up for around $50 when they're on sale at https://www.camofire.com/

Kuiu Kutana stretch. Bomb proof and great ventilation. When the temps drop, add some lightweight zip off base layers and you're good to go.

I’ve been using the Fjallraven Keb Agile pants for a few years now and the are by far my favourite from early season alpine to late season.

I have been using the kuiu kutanas for years very durable pant and go later in season with a merino bottom

What pants fit best for someone with shorter legs that works out and has larger thighs and butt?

I have some old FL pants that fit pretty well but are getting haggard
I tried a couple others years ago but they seem made for slim guys with thin legs.

I like Kuiu attack pants in a short 31” inseam. For everyday wear I use wrangler ATG’s. I don’t wear the wranglers hunting because man do they pick up the stickers! Comfort wise, durability, upf 50, etc. they are hard to beat. I also wear the attack pants when I dress up a little for a night out with my wife. I may try the Katanas or Tiburon’s but I hear they are more for a slim fit person which I never have been.

With so many recommendations for the Kuiu attack I wanted to see if anyone can share how they fit for guys with larger legs. For reference I can't wear most boots that are taller than 11" because my calfs are too large. I've been wearing the Sitka TImberline for years and like them for late season and mountain hunts. The kneepads are great when you need them, but can get extremely hot in the earlier hunts.
