Favorite budget trail camera

How do you like the muddys? I had a barn owl that worked really nice until a cow elk ate the antennas off of it. Barn owl is a fairly expensive setup.

For the price we love them. Easy setup and decent quality photos. Had a few issues with cameras showing they synced for the day but not sending photos to the app. When we went to retrieve the camera we would just check the SD card and look at the pictures. Good customer service as well.

We have somewhere north of 4 dozen of the Moultree El Cheapo trail cameras from walmart. Some have been out for nearly a decade. They all stay out year round despite the weather and our controlled burn program. Just use lithium batteries and change them once a year. Some of our cameras in spots with heavy doe or pig traffic will take well over 1k pics a month - some as high as 4k a month if some dummy (me) isn't diligent about clearing brush out of in front of them.
