Best Trail Camera + GPS Mapping Workflow?

I’ve been spending more time trying to organize my trail camera data and pair it with GPS/mapping software. The goal is to make it easier to keep track of where cameras are set, what activity is happening, and how animals are moving through different areas.

So far, I’ve mostly just been dropping pins in OnX/Google Earth and labeling them by camera number. It works, but it’s a little messy and I know there are better workflows or tools out there.

A few things I’m curious about:

• Do you guys use any software to sync trail cam pictures with GPS coordinates?

• What’s the easiest way to keep track of multiple cameras spread across a bigger area?

• Are there mapping programs (or even spreadsheets) that make analyzing animal movement patterns simpler?

• For those who run a lot of cams, how do you keep everything organized year after year?

I’d really appreciate any suggestions, whether it’s specific apps, desktop software, or just your personal system that works. Always looking to make things more efficient and avoid losing track of good intel.

Thanks in advance!
