Favorite Bourbon Opinions

Under $30 wild turkey 101, old forester 100 and rye, old grand dad bib.

Over $30 knob creek store picks, Elijah Craig barrel proof, bookers or four roses store picks in the off chance of seeing one around here.

favorite I’ve ever had is either William Larue Weller from the BTAC lineup or Michters 20.

recently picked this up for 139 + tax..

WTF. Nobody said Eagle Rare for <$30???

Eagle Rare is hands down my favorite for under $30. Bulleit Rye and Larceny are other decent options in that range.

Only bourbon I've had that was over $50 was Blantons and it is good. Kinda hard to find though in some spots.

Edit - A quick search shows eagle rare is no longer under $30. I'd recommend increasing your budget by $5 and still getting it though. Was $25 when I was buying it in NM 2 years ago.
I pay $50ish for eagle rare in Alaska. It’s possibly my favorite. So I can’t list it less than $30. It’s quite a bit more here.

You tried the 3 bears barrel select?

Oh yeah, picked up 3 bottles about a month ago. $43 is a pretty damn good price I think.

Good lord, I just googled some bourbon prices. Are people really paying 2-300 a bottle for Weller and ETL? I'll sell every bottle I have for those prices and happily sip on some four roses small batch.

Buffalo trace or Woodford, but I prefer a good single malt (Balvenie Doublewood is one of my favorites) to bourbon any day.

)I really like Makers Mark and Woodford Reserve for most days (around $30.00). I also like Breckenridge (Colorado) and Heritage Distilling’s Brown Sugar Bourbon that run around $45.00. Bookers for special occasions with my son or brother in law (always brings venison jerky to go with a glass or two). Gotta say Woodford Reserve is my favorite right now. Four Roses is awesome too. That’s about as high as I go. I shag em at the base exchange when I can, or Costco.

Hope your all enjoying a couple fingers-worth today. Stay safe out out there!

Buffalo Trace/ Eagle Rare- kind of even for me. Blanton's all the way, though. I stock up whenever I find it for a reasonable price.

Over $30 Blantons is the best I ever had. Under $30, I preferred Canadian whiskey; Canadian Club

Only have 2-3 drinks a week but I've got about 100 bottles of bourbon and rye at the house... Under 30 I'll take Elijah Craig or eagle rare... 50ish Stagg jr or Elijah Craig barrel proof... Favorite ever George T Stagg

Rye, I think Pikesville is the best buy out there for the cost (mid 40s)

The old Weller 12 is my favorite, it's basically a unicorn now. For over $30 Blanton's is a favorite and I had a KY Spirit store pic recently that was great. For under $30 I like Woodford , makers 46.

Weller comes from the same stills as Pappy! You're on to a treat without the $$$ pain

I recently sold an Elmer, a george t stagg and a Thomas Handy for 1300 combined... Realized there's too many great 50 dollar bottles otu ther to hold that much cash in line.
