Fas Top/Softopper/Etc. Experience?

About to pull the trigger on the FasTop traveller. Like the versatility of the setup and easy stow-away, and their Jaybar rack that works with it all. Is your Fastop still going strong? Have you used it for truckbed camping and has it stayed waterproof in rain? Any issues after 3+ years of use? thanks.

I got rid of the truck that had it about a year ago. Until that point though it held up perfectly fine. As I stated before I used only the tonneau 90% of the time. With the topper on it stayed very dry. At the front corners it would let a little water in. For instance if I went through the car wash the bed corners would have a couple drips. Nothing of concern. I never camped under it but would have 0 issues doing it.
My biggest gripe, and you’ll see it in other threads, is the back “window” gets very dirty and I found it to be very difficult to clean. For how I used the topper though it was fine. Hope this helps

I’m on my second softopper - that’s only because I sold the truck the first one was on.

It’s not perfect when it comes to dust, but I also haven’t went in and really tried to seal it, either. I don’t mind a small amount of dust on stuff, I’m more or less just trying to keep massive amounts from getting on there. As far as rain goes, it seems to do well.

The reason I wanted it is so I can leave some loose stuff(nothing heavy, stuff like sleeping pads/bags/etc) laying back there without having to worry about it flying out or strapping it down… and for that it works great. It’s also easy to put on and remove for one person, and only takes up a little space in my garage.
