Not to get off topic But how are you liking the Kimber Mountain Accent & what caliber is it. Been wanting one in a 260 Rem. but they dont make it in 260, may have to try the 308.

This one is 280AI and I have a 30-06 as well. Been really happy with both, the 30-06 fed and shot well out of the box, the 280AI has needed some work on the magazine box and follower and the set screw that locks down the firing pin came loose on both. I backed them out and lock tited them.

There are quite a few that seem to be jumping ship to these exo packs, even though they are comparatively unproven when up against some of the other major contenders (ie kifaru, MR, stone glacier, etc...). I am in no way insinuating that the exo packs are inferior, just babies compared to the competition. What is making you guys go with the exo? I understand the price point is a bit better than a complete kifaru set up but some of you guy already had one, so it's not as if this is really a reason for some of you. Is it just a latest and greatest mentality? Just curious.

Didnt Stone Glacier start making packs only a few years ago? For me price was a big factor in going towards the Exo rather than a Stone Glacier or Kifaru. Some of the other factors were that I wanted more color options than SG had to offer and I liked the layout of the Exo over Kifaru. Past that, I really liked how Steve showed off the thoughts during the packs creation. I have not seen that from the other companies.

It is true that SG is relatively new but it didn't seem that their packs took off quite as quickly either until they'd had a little time to prove themselves. I could be wrong there and again I'm not in any way say exo packs are inferior and I have absolutely nothing against against them. I think they are a very interesting option.

Supposedly they were going to be shipping by weeks end and next week. However, I have not received any notice for payment or anything?

Unfortunately for me that is what I keep hearing. Man when they said the first round would ship the End of June they really meant the very end of June, like the last day??
