Eurooptic Experience

Well, we do have to charge tax.. the IRS has a real lustful eye when they look at us. As for shipping.. you in Alaska? The shipping calculator on the site airs on the side of caution for estimating shipping costs for Alaska & Hawaii.
I don’t know what to offer other than to just tell you to message me if you wanna buy stuff that’s below the $250 free shipping mark. I have my own little mental shipping calculator and rules..
If guys are cool with me I’m cool with them..

Well. This one’s uncomfortable.

Nobody that talks to customers went and tore thru 100+ minox scopes and checked them, at least I know I didn’t do it and if anybody would have, it would’ve been me ; as I’m the only one fighting Blaser on these.
That’s as simple as I can put that.
On Connor’s behalf, I apologize. I won’t speak for him anymore on that, he’s in the office tomorrow if you would like to call him and ask about it.

As for the rest of your message..
I don’t believe we’ve interacted before, so I want to preface this with a few things about myself.
I have a tremendous amount of respect for Alex, and the company he built.
I do not work for EuroOptic for the money, nor is this a piece of padding on my resumè before i jump ship and go work for Sig or something, I love this company and the customers I am fortunate enough to interact with every day.

I am the only one fighting Blaser on these.
if any of them had been returned as offered I would have been the one eating the refunds at the end of the quarter, willingly.
But everybody wanted to keep them, so I paved the way for a road for repairs and credited the return shipping cost to Blaser back to everyone who sent me their costs..

The old EuroOptic is still very much alive, and I hope that this ordeal hasn’t affected your outlook on us too negatively.
If you have any questions or concerns, or need my assistance with anything - just shoot me a message or an email & I will take care of it.

Thank you for your time.
Jake
Jake, I don't hold it against euro or Connor....but the answer should have been different than that the next one would be a good one. 20 years ago if Alex said it....I took it for the gospel. I was sad to see that go away. Good news is that my 4th minox is a good one.

Have a great day.

I'm a bit shocked at some of the stuff people are pinning on Eurooptic--unreasonably so. Yeah, CS communication is on them. But there's a whole host of issues brought up here where they may be accountable, but they are certainly not responsible. Taxes, shipping co, etc that eurooptic has no control over.

Ive purchased a couple scopes from them and had excellent service and help - getting an expensive scope sent to my office this past holiday season.

I will purchase from them again.

Everyone finds a reason to piss and moan nowadays. I had a guy on ebay throw a fit that he had to pay sales taxes on a used scope.... I'm like, it's YOUR state that does it, not me. I've got no control over it. Dumbass.

Jake, it can be a damn tough job for industry reps to interact directly with customers on forums. It's almost a no-win proposition. To start with, your company better be damned good. You guys are. You have to know your stuff. You guys do. You have to be patient and diplomatic without being phony or patronizing. You come across as genuine. Good job brother.

I appreciate the kind words, I do what I can
I kinda see myself as more of a community liaison than a salesman at this point lol

Well, that’s a half hour of my life I’ll never get back. What a saga this was. Jake from eurooptic you sound like a valuable employee for that company, thank you for all these guys out. I purchased a ~$1500 optic from eurooptic as my first purchase from them a couple of months ago, and have since sung their praises on this forum a few different times about the deals they offer. About half way through this thread I was worried, glad everything got worked out in the end.

I’ve bought one scope from them. Only thing I’ve found is be careful of their descriptions without cross-referencing the manufacturer.

I like the guy that is requesting an elevator be placed in the brick in mortar location. lol insane.

My triji credo arrived quick and was the cheapest on the internet. Now I just need to decided what tikka to order from them.

Thanks @EuroOptic
