Just bought my first spotter from the classifieds, a vortex diamondback 20x60x60. I know it's not great glass, and a touch heavy, but I don't plan to use it backpacking, mostly from the truck and observation when shooting.
All that being said, I'm looking for recommendations for an entry level tripod.
Some notes:
I'm in WV, and won't be using it under high magnification other than than a once a year trip West.
Most use will be seeing targets at 100-200 yards to save a lot of walking.
Weight is not really a concern at all.
Durability is a concern.
Smoothness is a preference for sure.
Thank you, all.
