Any info on these things? Mainly use around my neighborhood (hilly). Gravel mountain roads. Looks like most are from China. Maybe a 750 watt? Aventon looks decent. Some cost more than pickups I have bought in the past. Any good values out there? Thanks in advance.

You can build one too from a decent donor bike if you like to tinker, a mid drive like Bafang BBSHD replaces the normal front crank.

There are all different kinds. I have a full blown full suspension Specialized Turbo Levo that's some of the most fun I've ever had. It made me sell my dirtbike because I have MTB trails extremely accessible to me where it takes 2hrs to drive to go ride dirtbikes. I rode multiple 30-40mi rides last summer in the dead heat (100+) and still had fun. Not really a value pick though.

I bought a Bafang BBSHD kit and put it on an older trek 29er. It’s pretty sweet and you get way more performance for the money building a mid drive bike.

Doubt if it will be used for hunting much as I am usually in BLM and Wilderness. Most likely around the house. Loan to friends and family as I ride an old school hard tail. Will look into conversions too. Thanks guys
