E-Form4 information

It's up and running now. Pretty slow but it's been down and the users attempting to get in right now, reset passwords update profiles etc cant be helping. I had a silencershop customer of mine go on and create and account with his silencershop account email and he is now registered on there. so far so good...here's the new user login guide again

So if we have a can waiting for eforms through Silencer Shop we need to create a login? I haven't received any guidance from them in regards to that

Yeah that's pretty much what I got. Hope it goes smoothly. I was apart of the first batch of Form1 E-filers that Silencer shop sent in. That was a 6 month fiasco while people who did it themselves were back in under a month.

I don’t want to call silencer shop to day because I’m sure they’re getting bombarded with questions but am correct in thinking that if you already have a suppressor in the system your dealer is going to call you and you’re going to re-file your form for using the E forms.

During the launch phase of this new program, you’ll be contacted by your local Powered By Silencer Shop dealer in approximately two weeks to mutually certify your eForm 4. Please have your ATF eForms username and PIN handy when you two connect.

I finally managed to register but apparently I didn't type my password in right because I can't log-in.

Silencershop was about a 30 minute wait for the livechat feature. I was before 12/4 but they said mine was going to go e-forms...

Lots of fun. If this results in a 90 day wait though I won't complain too much!

Iv got one going eform with silencershop, havnt gotten any correspondence yet in regards to what I have to do, but my form does say awaiting customer eform certification

You won't have to refile. If it's a paper form 4, and you pull it and Efile it, ATF said it'll be a 1 year wait until it'll be processed. If it's an e-file form 1, it was supposed to transfer over to the new system automatically.

Sounds like I misunderstood the email that got sent out. That’s kind of a bummer. I am needing a third can anyway so I’ll probably just order another after the first of the year and see which one makes it to me first.

It makes them seem to go faster if you have several in the pipeline at one time. You just get done submitting one and within a few months you get a different one back.

I've got 3 cans from July that I'm still waiting on. Just ordered a new Dead Air Nomad LT, I'm not sure if Silencer Shop is running that as an e-file or paper. I'm hoping e-file, but not sure how that's going to work through them.

If you log in there’s a place on your dashboard saying what your form is going. I ordered a TBAC late November that is going eform, I made zero changes to anything.

I see on my dashboard where it says ”form submission preference” and e- form is selected. I assume that means for future orders though.

I ordered 10/27/21 check was cashed 11/25/21 and it says ‘application is being reviewed by the ATF.’

On the other hand it also says “you are currently completing forms via electronic submission.” And If I click on more info it says “if you have a pending order with Silencer Shop, you’ll dealer will contact you in two weeks….”

But my order shows pending with the ATF, not pending with Silencer Shop. I have no idea what’s going on, maybe I’ll jump into a chat with them next week when I’m off work.

If your check is cashed your in process. I’d just be waiting if I were you. The wait sucks.
