Do you keep your vehicle clean?

I park in my shop, so all the trash comes out of the truck every time I come home, or buy fuel. Whichever comes first.

Washed at least once a week. Windows cleaned a little more.

Dash wiped down and floors vaccumed about once a week, unless they get dirty before.

Do you stay on top of it?

I try to keep trash from accumulating, but the interior is dusty and the floor mats accumulate dirt that I leaf blow out a couple times a year (love a truck with the carpet delete and weather tech mats for this). I wash the truck if it gets really dingy like it is now, so I need to do that and wax once a year max. I pressure wash and fluid film the underside annually.

ehh sorta:ROFLMAO:

My trucks seem to look worse the cleaner they are. So they dont get washed all that much. Why I keep buying dark colored trucks I will never know.

I keep my ford fairly clean, the tacoma on the other hand....It seems to get trashed pretty quick. I want to swap out the carpet for a rubber floor one of these days.

About how the toyota usually is

Everything about this is right, except the McCafe...I don't know how people stomach their coffee. I swear they put McNugget grease in it.

I keep my truck spotless inside. Outside is tough to keep clean living on gravel. If you stay on top of it it takes 5 mins to vacuum out once a week. It’s the one place I have that the kids haven’t taken over so I like it clean and organized.

I don't want to, but I have to...what is "dog shake"?

Wet dogs, they shake to dry off.
Ain't figured out a towel yet.

Little bastard was covered in mud after a goose hunt on a pond. Slipped out of his blind that was in the back seat and took his normal position in the front passenger seat.
Then decided he needed to dry off.

I wish I could but absolutely fail at it. As a construction site manager trying to keep my truck clean is an absolute waste of time. It looks great when clean, but I don’t have the time to keep after it like I should.

That's a lot more benign than what I originally imagined...

But makes more sense

I plan on keeping the new one clean, but not so much my old 250.
I wash it off maybe 4 times a year, rake all the crap out whenever I have to give someone a ride & renew the interior duct tape every couple of years.

I try to keep up. I have an unlimited wash plan at a local car wash. It's a constant battle, as it's on construction sites every day.

I do our sales and estimating, though, and I like to have it clean for client meetings.

I just bought a dedicated hunting/camping rig, though, and I'm sure it won't get quite as much attention.

I worked for a large farmer in high school and college. We would wash/wax/interior detail every tractor/combine/grain truck 2 times a year, and did the pickup trucks frequently based on need. I grew up on a farm where you did nothing of the sort. I asked him one time why we did so much to clean his tractors that were just going to get dirty. "If you bought a 1/4 million dollar truck, you'd wash it wouldn't you? When I sell or trade in my equipment I get premium money for it". And he definitely did.

I use my trucks for truck purposes, they get covered in mud/dirt/rock chips/branch scratches. But I wash them at the first chance I get. I keep the interiors wiped down and vacuumed out whenever I quit doing whatever it was that caused the filth. My 2 kids know not to leave anything in my cars/trucks. Yet their moms SUV is piled high with all their crap. Yet momma wants to drive 'my' vehicles because they're always cleaned out and in a presentable fashion. I don't go overboard on it, just spend a few minutes here and there on it and don't let clutter accumulate.

I am fairly picky about keeping our vehicles clean and detailed. My wife and I work hard and I like to have nice things so I buy nice things and take care of them.

In my experience, people take much better care of their vehicles if they are kept clean. Same thing for a home.

Goes through the automated car wash every Friday rain or shine unless it’s hunting season. Pets, kids, some adults, and food not allowed. Vacuum as needed- you could generally eat off the floor mats- again, unless it’s hunting season. Gloves off during season. But it gets a deep clean after.
“Some adults not allowed” 🤣.

I am a don't wash outside at all guy and my 2014 f150 cab corners are toast. I suspect it would of happened regardless, but I have to wonder if cleaning regularly might have given her a few more golden years.

I only pressure wash the outside grill in the summer when the grasshoppers are thick, that's just to keep the smell and yellowjackets down in the driveway/shop. Suspension and wheel wells get hosed out when full of cow crap and gumbo. Otherwise, only washed outside with soap twice in four years. Inside gets deep clean once a year but garbage taken almost daily.

I go through the car wash if I’ve been off-road and have mud and dust in the suspension and on the undercarriage.

I vacuum, wipe down dust, dump the floor mats about once every 2 weeks, give or take.
