Dead Air Nomad Ti XC

Maybe not a great use of money, but I saved 0.7 oz by switching the steel direct thread to the Ti adapter from DD ($55). Also then it's Ti on Ti, less chance of galling.

OCL had a .9oz 1/2-28 DT hub adapter for sale last night for $30….maybe a “better” (lesser) use of money.

Except the barrel is steel so the constant on off is ti vs steel... That's what's kept me from doing it.

That said, I did mess the threads up on a rifle once from a steel adapter so in that case, maybe a ti adapter would have saved me a cut and re thread fee.

That's fair, galling might be worse then. I'll put a bit of copper anti-sieze on the barrel threads.

I used to leave my can installed on my rifle but it comes off everytime rifle isn’t in use. Less chance of chunks of carbon to end up down the bore or in the chamber.

it’s a phenomenal can. Out of 3-4 guys shooting suppressed on the line, I kept having random people come up to me and ask what can I was using. Made my 6BRA shooting 109’s sound like a 22LR, hearing safe. On my 6.5cm gasser, not hearing safe, and definitely more gassy than without it.
