FWIW, I ordered a direct thread 5/8x24 DA part # LT302 mount for my Nomad LTi XC earlier this week and got it yesterday. Screwed the Xeno adapter off and the direct thread adapter on and put it on my dig. scale the LTi XC weighs 11.6 oz with the direct thread mount which is a few ounces lighter then it was with the Xeno + Omni brake and I guess it's supposed to be slightly quieter with a direct thread.

Played around with it on my 300blk AR pistol in my shop and swapping back and forth between the new Nomad my SAS 338 Vengeance, and Banish 30 (in its full length) the Banish 30 isn't even close so didn't bother with that one after a couple shots and to my ears, I could really tell no difference between the much bigger 338 Vengeance and LTi XC they both were holy shit that's quiet. The brass hitting the concrete floor seemed louder.
Glad to hear this, my FDE LTI XC is headed to my FFL currently to start form4 wait. I'm tempted to get the shorter TI XC As well after seeing the impressive results from the 2024 silencer summit.

I just wish they weren't double the price of the Enticer Lti...otherwise they would be my number 1 can. But the performance and price of the Lti is so good I dont see myself selling or buying a ton of the XC's.

Suppressors are life time purchases. I paid $1050 for the direct thread LTI XC, and $790 for DD LTI. 32% more cost. Want to pay double? Get a TBAC Magnus or Dominus. Those boys proud their stuff.

My LGS has a LTI XC and it’s a nice looking suppressor. It’s large and lighter than it looks but still very impressive.

Any updates on the can? Still going strong?

I bought into dead air's new 3d printed stuff and got a mojave. I picked up a Wilson x9L and wanted a sweet pistol can for it. It's definitely on point.

I have a Scythe and it's not overly impressive to me. While shooting a PRS match i let someone shoot my 6 creed with my wolfhunter on it and i was surprised at how much quieter it was standing 5' back even though it's super quiet at the muzzle.

That made me realize how much stock should be put into the dB at the shooters ear. If the xc is that much quieter I might be in the market.

Are you saying dB at shooter's ear shouldn't be weighted as heavily as it is?

I've been using it almost exclusively on an overbore magnum wildcat I put together. It's burning 65-70 gr in a 20" barrel and the can performs really well.
Sound and recoil impulse are two things I really like about it.

I've run lots of "dirty" powders through it, as well as some high pressure loads during pressure testing and no problems.

And I now trust it more than the scythe after seeing all the weld failures in the other thread. Kinda crazy saying that with Dead Air's history.

I have been thinking really hard about getting one this year or next, but hearing about dead airs CS history with the failures... It's not helping me go that direction.

I really like TBACs track record, but wish they'd make something in 1.75" width that's more similar to scythe and nomad xc. The ultra 9 seems great .... But that's pretty long.

When are you gonna break down and tell me about this new cartridge?! Thats great to hear on the can.

Id take a hard look at the L version but damn if another 6" can would be nice. That'll be a tough decision but I'm liking this can more and more.

Wonder how their brake sounds on it? Pretty cool attachment system them have. A titanium back cap would be nice too.

Haha the thread is live man, you must have missed it

Yeah, I agree on the length aspect. For a hunting rifle I think the regular length XC is the way to go.

I haven't tried the brakes or swapping out the DT mount yet, I will probably try and find a ti mount for it. End cap brakes aren't really my thing.

I have one on order as well and wanted a 6mm end cap and I found these. Don’t know anything about the company so proceed with caution. I’ll update when I get mine in.

They also have an adjustable brake for dead air or dd cans that looks interesting and you are able to close it off for prone shots

Also plan on using a rearden titanium direct thread to see how close I can get it to my scythe’s weight.
