Dead Air Nomad Ti XC

What are you running it on? Be interesting to get your thoughts when directly comparing them against eachother.
I put ebrakes on both of em. I have about everything from 300 norma imp to 22br, several 7s 65s 25s and 6s in between. I plan to use the standard ti XC with the ebrake or one these muzzle brake end caps for prs this year. https://recoilxbrakes.com/products/30-cal-muzzle-brake?variant=41514938073165

Absolute suppression isn't priority shooting matches, it's recoil management and getting rid the concussion from a big brake. Will still wear ear pro no doubt.

Safe full of Suppressors and the quietest one I own is a 600.00 Yankee Hill Resonator
Great suppressor for the money. Mine lives on my 223, so it gets a ton of rounds through it. Rock solid, and great sounding suppressor.

I was skeptical about the ebrake's effectiveness just from looking at it compared to a 3 port sico anchor brake but I read feedback recently that said it does make a difference. Leaning that way for next can so let us know how the ebrake does. Seems similar to the KGM can brakes and people seem to think those are decent as well..

Wish someone would give me a CHAD to try on a gamer gun, cant justify the spend on one.

Id hope it's right where the crosshairs are zeroed. (/sarcasm)

I'm not sure what exactly you're asking but i'm guessing there's not a good answer with the info and context included.
Ya i wasnt clear on that…. Ment shift in impact with or without. Didn’t make it to shoot last weekend…Plan on with brake, with thread protector with can to experiment. Interesting as always to see how different designs effect barrel.

I almost went with the LTi Xc but adding it to a 20” barrel appeared to make an overall length to much for what I wanted. I’m thinking the L might be good on a 16-18” barrel for my needs but post photos once you have it mounted, if you don’t mind.

The Ebrake is growing on me as well.

I might just have to try the e brake out When they get in stock. Was planning on putting the anchor brake back on the scythe for an upcoming comp, but I think that e brake might be a better design for recoil reduction

Considering a few suppressor options for the following rifles in my rotation.

- 18" 6 Arc Gasser (hunting + defense)
- 12.5 5.56 Gasser (some hunting but mostly defense)
- Tikka CTR in 6.5 Manbun (too heavy for hunting in current configuration)
- Tikka SL in 7 Mag - would have to be chopped/threaded (primary hunting rifle currently)

Thinking of the following to jump between them

- DA Ti XC - would this be a good fit for the gas guns?
- Scythe - same question
- CAT Noah or DA Lazarus - seem to be a good fit for the gassers

Is the best solution to optimize between the gassers and bolt guns?

Any insight welcome.

I don't have a gas gun, but it seems that's the case when reading TBACs suppressor summit. The reduced back pressure cans are quite in gas guns due to reduced ejection port "pop". At least that was my takeaway on those cans and gas guns.

CAT Noah and Nomad Ti XC should be a bitchin combo for that. Those are the 2 cans i'm most likely to buy next.

You want a two part solution. Not one can will be optimal for all this. You should get a low pressure can foe the gassers, and something else for the bolt guns.

I'd suggest a huxwerx on the gassers, the ti XC or Cat Johnny Law for the non-semis.

Personal opinion owning both an L and a 30, the L without the E-Brake will be quieter than the 30 with the E-Brake. The E-Brake does make a difference in recoil on larger cartridges but if you are shooting something small I would take the L for the greater sound reduction.

As it stands I use the regular L on my 18” - 20” hunting rifles and 24” to 28” target rifles while the 30 goes on my Blackout or my 24” 30-06. Once I get around to picking up the LTI XC I’ll use that on my hunting guns, the L on my target guns and the 30 on my AR’s.

Agreed. Was pretty convinced it would be a 2-suppressor decision. Don't think any one could solve for all 4 rifles.

I'm running the TI XC on my AR15 and 308. I installed a riflespeed adjustable gas block on the AR. Also probably helps that I am using a 20 inch barrel not doing mag dumps. I like the setup.

If you are talking about the Yankee Hill poi I have it on a 16 in 308 and it will shoot 3 shots under 1/2 inch at 100 yards if I take it off it still shoots 1/2 inch I don't know if I am doing something wrong

Currently own 2 LTI XC. First is on a 7mm rem mag. Changed zero after installing. Not a lot but more than I thought it would be. Man does it make the magnum caliber pretty quiet.

Also was satisfied with DA customer service and talking to the folks before purchase. Super informative.
