Dead Air Nomad Ti XC

since its titanium why would you want to take the baffles out to clean anyways? just soak the whole thing.

What’s the secret to getting the xeno hub adapter (factory) off the LTI XC? Is it left hand threads? Im trying to decide trying again with a strap wrench or just going xeno.

My little impact driver works great, just used it on a stick Otter Creek I couldn't get with a strap wrench and crescent wrench. You don't need much just the tapping from the impact breaks it loose, held the suppressor by hand doing it.

I have the regular length XC, it's not left handed threads.

The provided factory castle but style wrenches worked, but it was on really tight. Hub threads aren't left handed.

So are there any threaded end caps for this silencer that are noticeably better/lighter? I got my ti xc and it’s sweet but I’d upgrade it if it’s worth it.

If you are looking for different end caps, I’m not sure. But if you’re looking for lighter direct thread mounts, Rearden makes a titanium one that saves about an ounce over the supplied one.

This is the weight of mine with the Ti mount

Better for what usage? I'm using mine for NRL Hunter and PRS, so better for me is reducing recoil. I got the RecoilX brake, altogether is 12.8 oz with DD Ti adapter and my homemade (1.6 oz) cover.

If you're looking to cut a lil weight in the cover, the LS Wild covers work pretty well for their mass, under 2oz, and I can shoot 12rd strings from my PRS rifle with no mirage.

Yes, I think the diligent front cap can be used but I can't remember for sure or where I found it. I'll do it eventually so that it can be cleaned with CLR (factory front cap is steel).

You can also use the silencer co Ti direct thread mount on the rear. Save weight and length. Same comment on cleaning if you're inclined to clean.

A Dilligent ti end cap is 5 grams lighter, 7 VS 12g grams, less than a 1/4 oz different.
To be clear, you're referencing weights of the front cap or the direct thread? I think you're talking about the front.

I used one of these in titanium. Wanted a smaller end cap to shoot 6mm through. Went with the .281” and it works like a charm. I also put a Rearden direct thread on it since mine was Xeno to begin with.
Dang I wish I knew about those. I bought the factory DA 6.5 end cap and could have got one of these instead and saved a little bit of weight.

Yes, as that was the question asked that I quoted with my response.

I’m talking about the end that threads to the barrel, front cap, end cap whatever it’s called. I’m interested if there’s a lighter mounting option for direct thread.
