I don't understand why everybody's panties got in a bunch about changing the clocks. If it switches Ok sounds good but I can't believe even 2 minutes of time is being spent on this.

I can't imagine it not getting light until after 8:00 in the morning. Being a morning person it will be interesting how my body reacts. Probably will just blame anything on old age though. Lol
Is it dark at 08:00 there now?
It is getting light here (during DST) around 06:20.
Only place I ever lived where it is still dark at 8 a.m. is Alaska... and no time change will fix that.

I feel bad for people that live on the west side of the time zone in the northern tier states. Sun will be coming up after 930am for a large portion of the winter. 240 days a year it’ll be dark until after 7am.
Huh? It starts getting light at 06:20 here in WY DST.

For me it shakes out this way,………
I’m retired, I get up when I wake up, no clock, no alarm, no problem.
Hunting starts 30 minutes before sunrise, ends 30 minutes after sunset, so again, no problem.
I go to bed when I get sleepy, don’t need no clock telling me it’s bedtime, my body does that quite well. No problem there either.
The only time I use a clock is for appointments or shopping and I schedule those for mid morning to mid afternoon so changing time is of no benefit there.

My life revolves around the sun same as yours, the only difference is you have to arrange yours to fit an artificial schedule, the 🕰 and someone telling you when to do something. Not saying you’re wrong, heck I did it for almost 60 years, I just like my way better.

Sound like we are in the same boat drifting down the river.

Sort of, but we’ll miss out on the quick before work hunts!!
I never get those starting my work day at 5:45. But I sure will like the extra sleep hour in the mornings since shooting time won’t be until 8am+ for most of my season. I hope it all goes through and really happens.

Man, I really need to change the things I am doing in my life if some of the biggest problems people have is if its light or dark when they go to and from work.

It used to be an exciting night when you got an extra hour of drinking. Now that I'm a little bit older it's more exciting that we get an extra hour of sleep

I live in a very northern tier state and on the western side of the time zone. As it stands now, in the winter I have to drive to work in the dark and back home in the dark. It will be wonderful to be able to drive home when it is still light out and actually be able to see things in my yard for a few minutes a day

No matter where you live, and what time the sun comes up, there is nothing saying that schools and businesses have to open at a certain time.
