DA Nomad Ti XC vs. DD Wolf Hunter

I am deciding between the Nomad Ti XC and the Wolf Hunter to use on a .243.

Has anyone compared these side by side on a .243, 6mm, or even a .223? If you have, did one outperform the other?

Has anyone compared them side by side with the Wolf Hunter on a .243 and the Nomad Ti XC on a 6.5cm, 7-08, or .308?

Yes! My debate right now too for a 6 creed…..and I already have an STi I’ve had for a year. Great cans.

Dead air is quieter, wolf hunter is lighter. I have both. Dead air has a flatter tone as well. My experience anyways. The DD cans meter well at the muzzle but have a high "frequency" crack. The dead air is more muted.

Have you compared a Nomad Ti to the DD Enticer S-Ti, or Resilient Jolene S?

I have wolf hunter, sti, lti, but no Jolene. Honestly nomad XC, to shooters ear, and bystanders ear, is quieter than all these accept maybe DD LTI. My nomad lti XC is just more of a good thing, that can is really quiet to the EAR, easily the quietest can I have.

At the sound summing they registered very closely on a 223 in terms of decibels, being the TiXC has a larger volume it would make sense it has a flatter tone.

I just ordered a Jolene S to bounce around on some smaller cals but want another dedicated can for a 7 build in the works. I love my Nomad but figured if there's not much of a difference may as well save a couple hundred $ and ~an ounce of weight. Probably best just to get another since they seem to be more readily available anyway. Thanks!

Have you been able to compare the Ti XC to a raptor with reflex? I'm curious how these sound in comparison to each other

Negative, I've never been around a reflex can yet, in the field, at a match, or the range.
