Hey Roksliders,
I'm here in Salt Lake, just getting ready to head over to the Salt Palace for the Expo. If you've never been, it's quite an event with Seminars, booths, mega-sized bucks & bull mounts, and more about the hunting industry. Unlike SHOT, this is open to the public. I've been before and really enjoyed it.

Hope you applied for the non resident only tags. Last year's odds was 1-800 for one of the 5 once in a lifetime tags. Probably best odds out there for a bighorn tag!

Hey, I did apply for the buck hunts (you know me). The odds are awful. Surprises me me that the Sheep odds aren't compared to the state draw tags. Maybe because "non-res" only?

Yes guess only few non residents over 800 were last year. Odds for drawing a non resident Henry's tag are probably the same sucky. Where you hanging out down there. Thinking of stopping by and checking out the nomad in person

You can pay $5 a ticket and get in on some of Utah's best buck hunts in a lotto. Worst odds in the West, but fun to dream

Arizona Strip grows the biggest mule deer of modern day. Check out this buck If you get down here, it is at the Mossback booth... you have to see it.

Super great people. Amy never hunted until she met her husband and is totally into it now. Just killed a cow elk a few weeks ago. Husbands, tell your wives to watch for more from Amy in the next month on Rokslide. She's got some articles coming up for them. Just think how much more you'll get to hunt when your wife get's into it

BTW, we made Amy bend her leg so you couldn't see how short Robert and I really are!

I think I might have to buy one of the Flycraft USA rafts that I saw. I will be floating desolation canyon in 2015 (hopefully) for dear. Water is real low then and I think it would be much better than a normal whitewater raft.

Yeah...utah. i don't want to divulge too much...but i have reason to believe that there could be some good deer. Not to mention that it would be a real adventure. You don't get a name like "desolation canyon" by accident.
