Colorado/Denver area training camp

We got a good one in this morning at Red Rocks, but we'll be hitting it again tomorrow morning.


Time--- 8:00 AM

Place--- Gas station on 470 and Morrison

Equipment Needed--- 35+ lb pack and walking sticks and motivation

Looking forward to seeing everyone again!

I need to get in on one of these Sunday deals. Mother in law is in town this weekend but then most Sundays should work for an early morning hike, just have to convince myself that waking up early is possible. Four trips to the gym at 4am followed up by 12 hour shifts and not getting home until 7:30-8 took its toll on me. Next week is my short week so could probably do an early Sunday workout

Doesn't mean I won't be up. I got a mechanic that will be at my place to fix our 18 year olds car at 10 am stop on by Aron will throw a wrench in your hand to help out...

All seriousness I'd be there if I could be. I enjoyed last Sunday and I did a lot more throughout the week but I gotta get this car fixed. We are on week 2 of having to cart our 18 year old around and we are over it. Will be out for the next Sunday hike.

I'll be passing through Denver this week on Thursday. Not sure if you guys are getting after it on weekdays but if anybody is working out Thursday morning I'd definitely jump in. I don't have my pack with me so I'll have to go packless unless somebody has one they can spare.

The Green Mountain hike allowed me to get more cardio in for a longer period. Running the stairs after Aron left this am was a relatively brief and painful workout. It has sparked a fire though and I will improve. Plus my daughter is kind of excited about it so we'll be hitting it some more soon.
